Suriya doubles up as conjoined twins in KV Anand's ground-breaking action-thriller! Having enjoyed a big hit with the 2009 Tamil action thriller 'Ayan', writer/director KV Anand was eager to work with star Suriya again. But this time he had an even bigger challenge for the young Tamil actor and TV presenter. Not only did the role require him to play twin brothers, but they each have distinct personalities and are joined at the hip! "I've known Suriya for a while now and knew he could pull off the role of conjoined twins," says the director. "When you get your cast right, half your work is finished. I roped in Tara to play the mother because she had that vulnerability. Kajal became a part of the project because she had that intelligent and bubbly look." Although Anand had the idea for the film many years ago, it is only now that the technical expertise exists to pull off such an ambitious project successfully.
