George Clooney leads an all-star cast in the incredible true story of an unlikely WWII platoon sent to save priceless art from the Nazis! During WWII, the Nazis loot artworks all across Europe. US President Franklin D. Roosevelt becomes so concerned about this potential loss of cultural heritage that he tasks Lt. Frank Stokes (George Clooney) with launching a unique squad. Their mission is to locate and protect five million pieces of art. Together with Lt. James Granger (Matt Damon), Stokes recruits a crack multi-national team of museum directors, curators and art historians. But the Monuments Men are engaged in a race against time.
