http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com As the Explore group nears Urfa, I notice both women and MEN in the cotton fields are wearing light, filmy purple scarfs glitzed up with sequins! It seems the Kurds "adopt" a new color (last year was green) each year and that color becomes THE fashion. Inside the Old Urfa bazaar, are stacks of purple scarfs. And what is even more impressive to "wimpy men" in our group, Kurdish men think nothing of wearing a sequined, purple scarf with flair! Purple doesn't diminish their masculinity (even if I think they resemble "Barney"). Bravo, Kurdish men. Please don't forget to Subscribe Share and Like. Thanks.
