This is my cover of a the classic R&B song, "Good Lovin'", mostly famously done by The Young Rascals in 1966. I've heard many versions of this song, from Lemme B. Goode's original to The Olympics, as well as The Who's cover.

I put my own arrangement and spin on this for a slightly "harder" sound. I also chose to use the minor V chord as opposed to a major, which is closer to the bluesy original. In this case, it would be D-G-Am (the Rascals' version uses an A major). I prefer the minor sound, the progression is more interesting to me.

I also added a pretty rockin' guitar solo I was proud of, and a cool breakdown. The drums are a custom made track on a Ludwig, I did every part and fill by hand.

Instrumentally, there's a bass and rhythm guitar to the left (a Rickenbacker), and my lead and solo to the right (Gretsch) with drums in the middle. There's my one lead vocal and three-part backing vocal harmonies. Enjoy!
