So this excpands on what we have already looked at with NFS4 on our openSUSE11.2 server and looks at the automaount service; eliminating the need for manual mounts. The service will mount the required target when we enter a directory on the client. This first example looks at using the host automount service that will mount exports based on the hostname of the server.
