Man found fatally shot in car in OTR

OVER-THE-RHINE, Ohio (WKRC) - A man was found dead inside a vehicle in Over-The-Rhine early Monday morning, December 26.

Twenty-eight-year-old Joshua Howard was found in the driver's seat of a silver BMW in the middle of the street on Main Street. He had a fatal gunshot wound in his chest. Two witnesses said that they saw a dark green SUV leave the scene.

Investigators said Howard was circling the block over and over again. They don't know if he was looking for someone but they were certain someone was looking for him. Police said the fatal shooting was not random.

The dark force police were looking for the gunman who killed Howard. They will view security video from Main Street businesses and shell casings found at the scene will go into the database of casings from other crime scenes. That helps track the gun used on Main Street.
