This is a protest song in support of the Citizens for Sugarless Tea Foundation. I mean, whose idea was it to put sugar in tea in the first place? 

I've got a passion for tea.
Nothing beats good old Earl Grey for me.
I don't care much for coffee or milk
I just can't stand their ilk.

I used to come home to you
You made some nice tea for two
Just a you and a me, (Just a girl and a boy)
And a potful of tea. (And a potful of joy)

Then I saw you put sand in my tea,
Some disgusting white sand in my tea.
Makes it taste very dusty and sweet.
I don't like it one bit.

I also strongly oppose 
Stuffing any white sand up my nose.
Makes me nervously sad and morose.
Even a smallest dose.

Sandy tea I can't have anymore.
How many times do I have to implore:
Stop polluting my favourite drink!
But you don't give a blink.

Gonna find me a good-looking girl,
Who's gonna treat me like a Duke or an Earl.
Never put any sand in my tea.
Take a good care of me. 

We can open a fancy teashop,
Making people enjoy every drop.
Never worry about anything
That tomorrow may bring.
