Beyond Reality - Top Chef Vegas Recap 9/16/09  
Last time on Top Chef - Jessie & Hector were sent home.  
This week's guest judge is Tim Love.  
Quickfire - Chefs have 45 minutes to make something succulent with succulents.  
The winner will get a $15,000 poker chip but no immunity.  
Bottom - Ash, Michael, Ron.  
Top - Laurine, Mike, Mattin.  
Mike wins because he showcased the cactus the best.  
Elimination challenge - The chefs will be preparing lunch outdoors for 2 dozen cowboys.  It should be high end even though the venue is rustic.  They will have 30 mins at whole foods with a budget of $150.  They'll have 1 and a quarter hours to prep & cook day of & will be staying at the ranch overnight in teepees.  
Judges - Tom, Padma, Gail & Tim Love.  
Top - 
Laurine, Ashley, Michael, Bryan.  
Bryan wins for his Roasted pork loin with polenta.  
Bottom - 
Robin, Ron, Mattin.  
Mattin was eliminated because parts of his ceviche were raw.
