On an extremely hot 30 degrees day, the kids requested to go to the beach. It was only the 2nd day after Cane Corso puppy Vinci was fully vaccinated. It was his 2nd day outside walking around ever! Everything was new to him; the sand, ocean wave, smell, people, children on the beach came to play with him and many other dogs running around big and small. Being a cane corso, Vinci was staying with me all the time. I mean 'all the time'. They are a very special breed, so close to their people. Within a very short time I was fully confident I could let him off leash. Socialization is experience and be fine with everything. What's a better place than the beach on a super hot day? He experienced sand, salt water and waves for the first time. Both dogs and the people had a blast! While Ember the bully and my children were playing, I sit on the beach with Vinci most of the time watching others. It was a lot for him for the 2nd day out.
