You need:

White Cake Mix (I used Duncan Hines Brand)
3.5 ounce box of strawberry jello
4 eggs
3/4 cup strawberry puree (made by blending frozen strawberries)
     or 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
1/2 Cup sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Bake in a preheated oven, 350 degrees. Bake for 35 minutes if using two 8-inch pans. Check for doneness before bringing out of the oven.

Let cool before frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe:

1 Cup butter (2 sticks) softened
8 oz. block of cream cheese
1/2 Cup Crisco shortening (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 -4 Cups Powdered Sugar

Mix the cream cheese and butter and crisco together. Add the vanilla. Slowly add the sugar until all is well mixed.
