Who wore colorblocking trend better, Victoria Justice or Shay Mitchell? 

Victoria Justice was the first to dawn the similar color combo at the Premiere of the film Footloose back in October. Her gown by the designer Naven proved to be a standout on the red carpet. 

With its hugging silhouette and triangle cutouts, Victoria Looked elegant, but sassy. Victoria added a little bit of black to the color blocking with a black inset around the bust. 

She tied in the touch of black at the top of the dress by wearing black, Brian Atwood Pumps. 

Justice kept her hair down, straight and parted down the middle—a signature look for the actress. She added a touch of volume at the crown for some extra lift—but nothing too crazy so it didn't compete with the busy dress. 

And Shay just recently stepped out in her color-blocked mini to promote her cover on the Seventeen Magazine Prom Issue! Her dress didn't have the elegant feel that Victoria's did—but it was super fun! 

She paired it with sky high light blue heels to add an extra pop of color and the Pretty Little Liars star wore gold accessories to tie it all together. 

Like Victoria, Shay wore her hair down, but she added a little bit curl to soften the look.
