Hey everyone, this is a collaboration that was already uploaded, but I've done some remixing and I feel that the audio is dramatically improved. At that time I had no understanding of EQ and I also pushed my vocals too far forward. With the toned down lead vox, the instruments take more of a lead role and Ron's harmonies are more pronounced. Thanks for listening and for your support and friendship. Below is the backstory that was in the details of the original upload. ----------------------------------- A few weeks ago I awoke with the first stanza of this song in my head. Not wanting to disturb it and interested to see where it would go, I laid back down and meditated on the melody. I find that I'm often most creative when I don't have an instrument in my hands, I'm not limited by notes and chords and things can spawn organically. 20 minutes later, before I'd even gotten out of bed for the day, I had the chords, melody and lyrics to "Lifetime Seed" written. After getting a very rough take recorded, my next step was contacting my good youbuddy, Rhopen and seeing if he wanted to work this one up. In addition to guitar, I heard some banjo and cello and he is renowned for having every stringed instrument known to man. And being able to play them all, of course. ;-) I have to admit, I couldn't have made a wiser decision. Ron's harmonies and string layerings take this song from cute to elegant, from pleasant to grand. I owe you many thanks, my friend. If you are unfamilar with Ron's channel, the time has come for you to become acquainted. Aside from helping obscure songwriters like myself, Ron is a fine composer in his own right. He has a unique approach that always feels proper, yet rarely takes the route you initially expect. He is also one of the nicest members of this youtube community. http://www.youtube.com/user/rhopen As always, thank you for listening, commenting, rating and sharing my songs. Your support and feedback is treasured more than I can adequately convey. Justin
