North West University gets new astronomy telescope

Today the North-West University's Mahikeng campus in the province became the first historically disadvantaged higher learning institution to get an astronomical observatory which will help diversify the country's astronomy community, by enabling pupils of schools in rural communities to access its impressive 16-inch telescope.
