Thanks in great part to some crappy fuel oil, Fireman Mark Kramer lost the fire during a short move and they had to light it up again. I shot this to simply capture the moment of lighting a steam locomotive and got the shock of my life in the form of a seven-foot flame that shot straight out of the firebox and virtually into my face.

This video is proof that steam locomotives will do whatever they want, whenever they feel like it.
