HAMILTON, Ohio (Adam Clements) -- Suspected killer, Daniel French, will make his first appearance in court Tuesday morning in Butler County. French was indicted last week for the 2012 murder of 87-year-old Barbara Howe of Monroe. He was arrested at his sister's home in Rockcastle, Kentucky. He was extradited to Butler County last night. Investigators haven't released many details of how they tracked down French, but they did reveal that he was once an employee of the Mount Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe. That's where Barbara Howe was living at the time of her murder. Howe was missing for several days until her body was found in the trunk of her red Cadillac in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Middletown. In addition to being charged with murder, Daniel French was also indicted on counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.
