Check out this video of Niagara Falls filmed using a Blade Chroma Quadcopter. Take-off location is next to the former Toronto Power Generation Station that was first put into service back in 1906 and taken offline in 1975. The location itself has some interesting history worth reading about here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto_Power_Generating_Station

The site chosen offered easy access to the falls using a quadcopter without having to fly over people or cause any distraction. The quadcopter remained under 200 feet in elevation for safety and to keep in sight. The flying distance uses up a lot of battery and not much time is left to remain in the air.

The quadcopter camera has no manual exposure control. White water can over expose and start clipping. You need to pay attention to this and pick your shots accordingly. Niagara Falls is beautiful and fascinating to view from this perspective.

If anyone is planning on doing the same, keep it safe and within the law. Many people don't understand the law and can get upset with you.

Hope you enjoyed the video. Next time I will bring some more batteries with me.
