Lake Talquin is one of the best kept secrets in the angling world. It is a 12 mile long lake dammed up by the Ocklockonee river here in Tallahassee. FWC closely manages the bass and shad populations making it prime for anglers. We found some bass on the beds and were able to stick a few of them. We pulled up to a spot known for the topless lady statue and wouldn't you know it, our biggest fish came from right at her feet! LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! Techniques used today were basic texas rigged bed fish baits. We were using a small plastic crawfish bait and zoom lizards. The bass had just started spawning and most of the bass we saw bedding were not really locked on the bed yet. The few fish that we did find locked on, we were able to catch. Fishing the spawning season can be some of the most exciting fishing of the year! Music: Music by BENSOUND http://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-...
