I was going to make this a guide for making any headphones detachable (so you can turn them into a gaming headset), however it went wrong when I had the speakers mixed up and things just went downhill from there lol, so when I pulled the headphones apart I noticed that Sennheiser put the positive and negative wire in the same tube, which was pretty worrying for me. When I changed this and turned this into frankenstien headphones the results were suprising, they sounded freaking amazing. These will be my new gaming headphones (coupled with a v-moda to make a gaming headset), they are not as fun as the fidelio x1s, but are more competitive and are also better for longer sessions (as they are lighter).
