The band’s co-founder, songwriter and vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen , told CivilNet about her musical preferences and hard choices. Anneke van Giersbergen was the vocalist of T he Gathering Melancholic rock band in 1994-2007. In 2007 she initiated the Agua de Annique acoustic solo project. In 2014, she took part in the The Gentle Storm project, as a result of which, The Diary album was released in 2015. In 2016 she created by Vuur Progressive Metal Group, comprised of musicians from The Gentle Storm and her solo project.
