With the current justified focus on mental health I wonder if its possible to be at a disadvantage by being too intelligent as well as less so. Do we place academic success over mental welbeing? and does having too much awareness of the world we are in cause unhappiness in itself? Is it better to be an easily entertained simpleton or a stressed genius?
