On Saturday, motorcyclists gathered for a ride to honor Staff Sgt. Edwin Rivera, a Waterford native who was killed in May 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. Bikers spent the day at a cook out at Mike?s Harley-Davidson in Groton before heading out on the run, which ended in Waterford. The event was held to benefit the group Neighbors Supporting Sgt. Edwin Rivera?s Family. It was set up to help the family relocate.
