It's not every day that you get to pull a signal that's been out of production since 2007 from its original packaging but for me, November 6th, 2016 was that day. I won this signal in an auction back in April, 2016 and was unable to pick it up right away so I had a good family friend who was nice enough to pick it up and store it for me until I was able to drive down to Arizona to get it. I also spent some time in the pool and got tan while I was at it. My friend's grandchildren make a brief appearance in the video, as well.

This M-131 was manufactured in 2000 and was originally purchased by the City of Chandler, Arizona. At some point in time during its lengthy storage, they pilfered one of its visors, I presume to replace a lost one on an in-service unit so I'm on the hunt for another in good shape. I originally planned on saving the box but it was too far gone to survive the trip home so it was recycled in Arizona.
