COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - The reason a strip of Madison Avenue near the intersection of Decoursey Avenue was shut down in Covington on Monday was that a water main broke there in the morning.

Crews have been working all day, in the cold, to fix the problem.

There has been no word on when the road may reopen.
