FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WKRC) - Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Fairfield early Wednesday.

It happened around 1:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Dixie Highway near St. Clair Avenue.

The man who was hit was flown to the hospital.

The driver of the car was not injured.
