Anand Vihar Udhampur express | INDIAN RAILWAYS | ANAND VIHAR TRM to UDHAMPUR

04401 Anand Vihar (T) - Udhampur Special coming to platform no. 4 of Anand Vihar Terminal, hauled by ALCo WDM3A #18734 of Tughlakabad (TKD) DLS, NR.
Although the livery of this train is very much similar to the livery of Hybrid LHB coaches (LHB shell on ICF bogies with air spring suspension), but these coaches have FIAT bogies (wheel sets), hence you can consider these coaches as PURE LHB coaches. Moreover, these coaches have an advantage that these are Self Generating coaches, hence it eliminates the need of End-on-Generation (EOG) system.
These coaches were manufactured in 2004/05 by Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala, Punjab and were used in the erstwhile 14645/14646 Jammu Tawi - New Delhi - Jammu Tawi Shalimar Express, later it was discontinued when the rake failed to perform as per railways' expectation, its self generating equipments required frequent maintenance, hence this rake finally ended up working a special train between Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) and Udhampur / Jammu Tawi / Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. Although this is a special train, but it runs almost the year round, hence a permanent special train with limited run :-)
