CINCINNATI (WKRC) - There's a new candidate in Ohio's governor race.

Jon Husted announced his bid in a video message to supporters Sunday, May 7. He currently serves as Ohio's secretary of state.

On the Republican ticket Husted joins Mike DeWine, Jim Renacci, and Mary Taylor in formally declaring for the race.

On the Democratic ticket Dave Kiefer, Connie Pillich, Joe Schiavoni, and Betty Sutton have declared their run.
