You set goals and you accomplish them or maybe you don't.

You have a NLP skill set and you set your outcomes, discover what it will do for you and the value you're serving, and you future pace.

Sound familiar?

If not you probably haven't done any NLP training and you should definitely sign up for my practitioner training this fall.

If it does sound familiar how's it working out for you? (You should still sign up for my practitioner training).

It feels great to accomplish a goal or an outcome, but some times that feeling great is short-lived and then you're on to the next dragon to slay.

How many dragons have you slayed? Ever wonder when you will slay the dragon of all dragons so you don't have to keep slaying? The final dragon that will have you living the life you've dreamed of?

Chances are you're going to keep slaying until you're clear about the lifestyle you want to live.

It's one thing to set a goal here and there and accomplish it. It's quite another to set goals that are in alignment with the lifestyle you want to create.

Notice that I use the word 'lifestyle' instead of just 'life'. Life is too big of a nominalization. Lifestyle is also a nominalization but it's a bit more adjective than noun.

Start with the end in mind. Start with the lifestyle you want to live and make sure it's the lifestyle you want, not the one you think you should be living.

For example, for years I felt like I should own a house. Just a few months ago I realized owning a house would tie up my money and tie me down more than I want. Feeling I needed to own a house was someone else's lifestyle.

Maybe you want to travel more before you settle but other people think it's best if you settle. Who are you living for?

Stop trying to live someone else's idea of the perfect lifestyle and get clear about the one you want to live. Design it and make it happen.

Think more in terms of what you would like to be doing instead of who you would like to be. When you're doing what you want you'll be the person you want to be.
