Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has dismissed claims that the war against corruption is tribal. Mudavadi has expressed support for President Uhuru Kenyatta's efforts to fight corruption in the country asking leaders not to politicize the matter. Speaking in Kikuyu constituency at PCEA church, Mudavadi said corrupt individuals were hiding behind their tribes being targeted in the war against corruption yet when they stole from the public, they did not do so on behalf of their communities. Mudavadi called on politicians to support the president's fight arguing that it would be a perfect legacy for the head of state in his last term in office.
