Since its inception in 2002, the Totalsports Women's Race has grown to three races in the three major cities in celebration of women. The rise of female participation in road running has been the story of the sport for the last 3 years. In America, ladies made up 57% of the 17 million U.S. race finishers in 2015, while at 2018's Two Oceans marathon - of the 16780 entrants in the half, 9259 were women. On Thursday 9th August 2018 in Johannesburg and Cape Town, women will take part in the Totalsport event.
