Our lives are FULL. We live them at a high rate of speed. How much can we CRAM into one day? How much money can we earn in a week, month or year? How healthy is this way of living in the long term??? FREE report - 5 Ways to Become Tough as Nails http://www.criticalbench.com/tough Coach Chris dives deep into this topic of Living Life UP AGAINST the Guard Rail. This topic is based on a sermon heard at Grace Family Church in Tampa Florida where he attends. A very special thanks to Pastors Craig Altman and Matt Roden for delivering amazing messages to thousands of people every week. This video is based on my notes and sincere feelings about this very real and prevalent way of life. So how are you living? Are you doing a good job of managing your time, prioritizing family, friends and down time so that you can perform your best at work, at home and in the gym? We FILL our time with lots and lots of "nice" things and we get really bad at saying NO. No to events and things that we ordinarily like to do, things that give us some level of satisfaction but often we feel obligated to do. Rather we should take time for ourselves to UNPLUG and focus on our needs. Time to breathe, to think, to write, to rest and to be free. Saying NO to good things is not a bad thing to do but actually a necessary part of life. We can't do everything that comes our way just because it's a "good or nice" thing. The power of NO is key to most successful people. They are amazing at prioritizing. Making time for what matters most (personal health, family, close friends, rest) and passing on the many opportunities that come their way if they aren't absolutely necessary. It's easy to say NO to crappy opportunities, we can spot those from a mile away, the harder thing is to start saying NO THANKS to the nice to do things that clutter our time and prevent us from unplugging, recuperating and recharging ourselves. Stop cramming your life full of "STUFF" and use your time wisely on what matters most. Create that MARGIN in your life that's been missing. Have that space between your lane and the guard rail so that you can breathe easier, have time for yourself and be more present in the lives of those that you love. Again, thank you GFC for this awesome message from the Margin series earlier this year. Please leave some questions or comments for me below. I'd love to hear what you have to say about this interesting subject. 13 Things Mentally Tough People AVOID http://www.criticalbench.com/growth/psychology-of-strength Subscribe to Our Channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=criticalbench Follow us on Instagram (@thecriticalbench): https://www.instagram.com/thecriticalbench/ Follow Chris on Instagram (@coach_cjw): https://www.instagram.com/coach_cjw/ Subscribe to the Critical Bench Compound Channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=gymexercises
