Investors' confidence in local equity and bond market is expected to recover on the back of strong government policies and higher dividend payout from government linked companies that would ease the country's debt level. According to Nomura's head of Malaysia Equity Research, Tushar Mohata foreign investors are waiting for more business friendly policies to make key investment decisions. Nomura forecasts the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI), to hit 1,890 points by year end. The research firm also expects loan growth to sustain at six per cent this year. However, business sentiment is expected to remain volatile as the community is still uncertain of policy changes by the government. As at 5pm, the FBM KLCI ended at 1,805.75, up 0.04 per cent.
