Found a free app on ITunes called "Decibel Ultra" that had the highest rating in the "free category." Played around with it in different venues and determined it was good enough. My IPhone is laying said ways. The only position I could record. Plus it made a really cool mirror effect while shooting. The top bar is reading "Average" is what is known as Ambient Noise Average. Meaning if there is constant wind, a buzz or background noise it will average that sound. The second bar reading "Peak" is the the loudest recorded noise you are trying to pick up. You can also just watch the electronic graph on the right. All said and done. This is QUIET!!!
