Will you be invited to The Great Banquet?

Scripture teaches that God is a rewarder of those who believe that He exists and earnestly seek Him.

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." - Hebrews 11:6

God is pleased when we believe in Him, particularly when that belief results in our living in such a way as to be rewarded by Him. Many of the promised rewards can be found in the teachings of Jesus, the greatest of which being eternal life. Jesus revealed how one would inherit eternal life in stories like The Parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37, The Rich and The Kingdom of God in Luke 18:18-30, and The Sheep and The Goats in Matthew 25:31-46

Jesus called this gift of eternal life "The Great Banquet" in Luke 14:12-35, and like the story of Judgement Day in Matthew 25:31-46, only those who both believed in Jesus AND did the will of the Father actually enter (Matthew 7:21-23).
