Vlog n°5, part 2 of our mini-series about tuning. Here we will set-up a temperament with 6 pure fifths in a row, leaving 6 fifths a tiny bit too small. This temperament, more or less a so called Valotti-temperament, is certainly used a lot during the 18th century and for sure towards the end of the 18th c. It is not too difficult to set-up, and can be adjusted according to taste and literature you want to play. But first things first: we'll talk about how to set-up this temperament and give you some tips. As usual, the MP3 sound file can be downloaded on the website, which is: http://authenticsound.be/youtube/index.html
