In the month of August I read a total of 7 books (2,699 pages) My favorite book of the month: Maybe In Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid This month I read 7 books (2 audiobooks, 2 ARC's, and 3 books). I had a disappointing reading month, considering I didn't like most of the material I read, but I also read one of my new favorite books of all time: Maybe In Another Life. I think the reason I didn't read as much this month is because I listened to two audiobooks that were extremely long audiobooks (one book was 600 pages, the other 500 pages) so I usually read more audiobooks. I also started carpooling with a co-worker this month so I don't get to listen to audiobooks as often anymore. And I know it sounds weird, but this is the first month that has truly felt like summer to me, and me and my family went to the lake a few times this month which was really awesome. I don't know if you can tell by my reading choices lately but I've been really obsessed with New Adult romance lately and I'm trying to find the gems in that genre. I'm kind of getting tired of only reading contemporaries and romance novels lately so I think in September I'm going to try to read more thrillers and possibly fantasy? Idk it depends what I'm in the mood for I guess. How many books did you read this month?
