Fuji Power Rescue PowerBankSystem PowerBankSystem Co., Ltd. developed a portable solar fuel cell known as the Fuji Power Rescue in conjunction with Fuji Electric Systems, Kumamoto University and Kumamoto Techno as part of an industry, academia, and government collaborative project. In the event of a large scale disaster which results in black out conditions and in situations where information gathering and contact efforts are hindered, this portable solar fuel cell can be used to maintain a power supply at the disaster evacuation site ｗhen the skies are clear. Additional solar panels can be added as necessary. The portable solar fuel cell can be used as an auxiliary power source for computers and cell phones and can be easily transported by women as well because it is lightweight, compact and easily stored. The portable solar fuel cell is open priced.
