The aptly-named Turbo, a two-month-old Brahma chicken, has made a speedy recovery and happily hops along on his remaining leg after his rescuer Charlie Beecroft decided to take a chance on the poorly poultry. While his chances of survival were slim, Turbo has defied the odds with the help of full-time mum Charlie, 32, her fiancé Mark Kimber, 33, and their sons Louis Kimber, five, and Harry Kimber, two. Now, just a month on from his awful ordeal, the happy and loved bird loves to hop around the garden making friends with the family’s menagerie of other pets. Charlie, of Norwich, Norfolk, said: “He gets around really well.
