We're in the middle of rehearsals for the Christmas concert again, in which I play in a small orchestra. I took one of the songs we're going to play and played the first and second violin parts and put them together. Beforehand, I didn't know how the parts would sound together. I'm not sure I like it, but at least it's nice to do a duet video again. 🙂 This Christmas song is well-known in The Netherlands: "Midden in de winternacht." The french title is "Quand Jesus naquit à Noël". I searched for an english translation as well, and found it under the name "Noel We Sing". Last year, I joined the Christmas orchestra as well, playing the violin for only 7 months. This year I'm joining the orchestra again, with currently 1 year and 6 months of playing experience.
