My violin teacher is the best, he asked me to join the student orchestra to play during the yearly Christmas Concert in our town! I can't believe I'm playing for an audience after only 7 months of playing the violin! It was an amazing experience! I hope this video gives a nice impression of the evening. And if anyone's wondering: yes, I made mistakes during the concert. My bow trembled during the first two songs (so nervous!), I was out of tune very badly a few times and I even lost track of where we were once. What you do when that happens is just keep playing softly and after a few seconds, you are on track again. I had studied my parts very well so it didn't take long for me to recover. It's great when your first performance is in a group, because nobody will notice your mistakes as long as you stay calm and keep playing. During the last two songs, all nerves were gone and I felt like I was rocking it!
