This video was produced using screen grabs from our archive of live video that was streamed from an unmanned camera system set up along the west side of Houston, TX for the massive flood event of April 17-18, 2016. 

Since it was dark when the cam was deployed, we could not see much in real-time. However, using modern video editing, we can extract the frames of video that were illuminated by lightning flashes - allowing us to "see" the rising flood water of South Mayde Creek at Greenhouse Road. Notice how the water engulfed the basin and then proceeded to flood the road- Greenhouse Rd - almost to the point of stranding a few passers by.
