Radio Show Video Get Seafood Watch Mobile App from Monterey Bay Aquarium Says Danny Quintana on James Lowe Radio Show: This is a fantastic tool everyone should have at the fingertips when shopping for food, going to a restaurant or wondering what kind of fish to serve at a party or family dinner. The Global High Seas Marine Preserve is partnering with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to promote sustainable seafood habits among consumers because this will force industrial fishing companies to change their practices; if one buys the food coming from industrial fishing those companies will stop fishing for those species. GHSMP's 50 Sustainable Seafood Cities Campaign is targeting the 50 largest cities in the United States to have them mandated by municipal authorities as Sustainable Seafood Cities and allow only seafood products from sustainable sources to be sold within their jurisdictions.
