Santa Casa de Avare Hospital is an important hospital for the region, it has eight levels of hierarchy - the maximum amount of levels a Hospital can reach - to perform highly complex procedures such as heart disease treatment, stomach, plastic, vascular, neurology surgeries, among many other procedures.

There is a strong demand to provide more health care to the population and more over to the surrounding districts. Aiming to become a reference center, the city has structured public and private hospitals in the city. 

This allowed Santa Casa to assist the Unified Health System (SUS) - the largest public health service in the country- and they became a reference of high quality in the region. Despite all of its services, the hospital did not have an image diagnosis center.

As the population in the area expanded, additional services were needed from the Hospital and Santa Casa de Avare noticed the demand to offer more abundant services, including higher quality image exams that would allow for better diagnosis for the local population as well as to serve those from cities around Avare.

Hitachi Sistemas Medicos do Brasil was the company carefully chosen to provide the magnetic resonance equipment for the new diagnosis sector based on its high technology, quality, reliability and technical precision.
