We are celebrating Dhantrayodashi every year on Ashwin Krushna Trayodashi current year it is on 11th November 2012. We are also donating Lamp (DipDan) to God Yam on this day. Lakshmi Dhyanam is in Sanskrit. It is from Brahmavaivart purana, Prakruti Khanda. Bhagavati Lakshmi is standing on a pink Lotus which has got thousand petals. Her sari is so beautiful that it is shining like thousands of Moon on full moon night in Sharad Rutu. She has got her own brightness. My mind is dancing with joy by looking at pleasant appearance of Goddess. Her body is appearing yellowish bright as hot gold. Ornaments on her body are making her more beautiful. She has worn a yellow sari. Goddess Lakshmi is looking very pleasant with her smiling face. She looks always young and rich. Goddess Lakshmi gives all type of wealth to her devotees.
