The French President saw   his  approval ratings slump following a difficult summer... when a video came to light showing his security aide Alexandre Benalla assaulting May Day demonstrators His handling of the scandal only added to the growing sense among voters that he is arrogant and out of touch Elected on a "neither left nor right" platform... Critics accuse Macron of being a president for the rich - Pushing through unpopular reforms such as cutting taxes for businesses and increasing them for pensioners.The new cabinet comes as Macron hopes to win back voters ahead of the european elections in 2019 and municipal elections in 2020 ...
