Some 70 teams competed in the ten-day race that covered 1,600 kilometres of the world's roughest terrain. What's described as "the last great race" has come to an end in Western Alaska. It's a grueling dog sled journey that tests the skills of the competitors, both human and canine. Al Jazeera’s Daniel Lak reports from Nome.
