2,000 bags of contraband foodstuff nabbed in Thika, police arrest 10

Police officers from Thika Police station have seized 2,000 bags of contraband rice and wheat. The consignment was nabbed from Ngoingwa stores in Thika estate.

10 workers including the owner of the consignment have been arrested. The consignment which consisted 1,600 bags of rice from World Food Programme and 400 bags  of wheat from USAID is said to be food for refugees.
