Here's a tune that's been stuck in my head for the past month... 'Guacamole Real' is an original song by the Seattle based group 'SuperSones' that was co-written by their leader and Tresero Kevin Connor. Connor is one of my favorite Tres players based outside of Cuba, his style is similar to that of Pepito Domingo of 'Septeto Trio Los Dos', playing in the traditional style with two octave courses, but with a modern approach. Last March I posted a video of their 2009 release 'Son Para Ti', here is a link to that: https://youtu.be/OPZFnFLA_sk Kevin Connor tunes to C (GCE) so in the video I am as well. In the video I am playing my Taylor GS Mini Tres. For more on that click here: http://youtu.be/queaSXlQlHM The guages I am using are: G10/24 C16/16 E26/11 I transcribe all of the songs for my tutorials myself so I don't have the tablature for any of them. #TresCubano #CubanTres #Tresero My channel is not monetized, so I do not make money from my videos. If there are ads running on this video it's because the content is copyrighted and the owner of that copyright is receiving the revenue from the video views. The song at the end of the video is the classic tune ‘El Reloj De Pastora’ played by the incredible ‘Septeto Trio Los Dos’ who have graciously given me permission to use. I make and sell Tres Cubano Conversion Kits for Baby Taylor Guitars. The kit can be installed in under 30 minutes with no luthier experience required. They cost $200 (USD) with free shipping worldwide. You supply the Baby Taylor and I send you everything you need to turn it into a great sounding Cuban Tres.
