Vote Democrat." One billboard is down and the other will be down soon, according to a lawyer for the woman who paid for the billboards.Attorney David Hutton tells us this isn't a political statement, it's a religious one."It's a spiritual, Christian message," said Hutton. "These issues are against her spiritual and Christian principles. It's not meant to be political per se, but they just happen to fall right in the middle of political platform battlefields.Federal law states political ads must show who paid for them. These billboards don't include that.So even though Hutton says the intent was not political, the signs are still coming down, for now."It's going to get redesigned according to a legal analysis this time, where it doesn't defend any of the federal or state or local statutes. Or against any particular candidate for that matter."Hutton says as many as 70 of the redesigned messages could go up across the country.
