Team Next 9 News visited Israeli Camp in Rangpuri Pahari area of south Delhi near Vasant Kunj, in an effort to elicit public response on the access to education of children among the marginalized slum dwellers. Disadvantaged children spoke about the sheer lack of facilities as a major obstacle to their education. The locals complained about the indifferent attitude on the part of government towards the educational needs of these underprivileged children. They were also critical of the newly formed Kejriwal government in Delhi. Despite the legislative imitative in the form of RTE Act, these children are struggling to defend their rights.
