(11 Oct 2018) THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE OPENS NEW PHOTOGRAPHY CENTRE The Duchess of Cambridge helped open the Victoria and Albert Museum's new Photography Centre in London on Wednesday (10OCT2018). This was the Duchess' first visit to the museum since becoming a Royal Patron. The museum, known as the V&A was named after her husband, Prince William's grandparents. While there the Duchess learned about the history of photography, and viewed early camera equipment. She also met with curators and unveiled a plaque officially marking the new Photography Centre's opening. Kate, a photography-enthusiast, has taken some of the pictures of her children released by Kensington Palace throughout the years.
